Valerie Elliott. Assistant University Archivist and Co-coordinator of Miami Stories. In addition to the oral history project, she assists with research on Miami’s forthcoming bicentennial history book. She is also Head of the Smith Library of Regional History for the Lane Public Libraries and is the author of Images of America: Oxford (Arcadia, 2004).
Jenny Presnell. Humanities/Social Sciences Librarian and Co-cordinator of Miami Stories. She has taught a course on historical research methods that resulted in the publication, The Information-Literate Historian: A Guide to Research for History Students, (Oxford Unversity Press, 2007). When not teaching students how to use the library she devlopes the libraries History, American Studies, Women's Studies and Military Science collections.
Curt Elliison. Professor of History & American Studies, Director of the William Holmes McGuffey Museum, General Editor of Miami University 1809-2009: Bicentennial Perspectives (forthcoming 2008), and Chair of Miami’s Bicentennial History Committee. He teaches “History of Miami University” and “Appalachian Cultures and Music,” and has published in country music studies and African-American literary criticism. He serves as an interviewer for the Miami Stories Oral History Project and as a member of its coordinating committee.
Gayle Brown . Program Associate University Archives. She has taught history at Miami's Hamilton and Middletown campuses and other area universities and worked at the Smith Library of Regional History before joining the Miami Stories Oral History Project. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa and her bachelor and master's degrees from Marquette University.
John Millard . Head of Digital Initiatives. For Miami Stories, John digitizes and preserves the interviews as well as provides technical support. He directs the local digital projects listed at: http://www.lib.muohio.edu/digital/. He has also created the OhioView Geospatial Digital Library, connected with NASA.
