Student/Faculty Partnerships

Who?
How?Student employees provided with free training. 1 faculty member with reduced courseload to train and supervise; 1 librarian as consultant. Results:Students available for 20 hours over a two week period. Students begin project development developing web site or slide-show after consulting with faculty. Students train faculty to continue project at the end of two weeks. The provost provided money to pay students and release time to assist the faculty member in starting up the program.
- 15-20 web pages were created before the end of the program's first semester.
- Some student employees are pursuing web design as a career.
