To locate United States laws by name use the United States Code Annotated (USCA, USC) LAW KF 62.5 .W45.
Go to the General Index shelved at the beginning of the set. Locate the "Popular Name Table" near the end of the index volumes. This lists laws alphabetically by name showing the original law and each individual law amending it, if any.
At the end of each law listed there is a parenthetical citation to the location of the law in the United States Code Annotated. For example, (12 # 1757) indicates Title 12, section 1757. Go to that title and section number in the main volumes of the set for the current version of the law.
There is also a citation to the United States Statutes at Large. For example, 88 Stat. 1866 indicates volume 88 of the Statutes at Large, page 1866. Go to the Statutes at Large (LAW KF 50 .U5) if you wish to see the law in its original, unamended format.
