OL Chat Coordinators - staff from 10-11pm, Sun-Thurs

1 39 * yes Denison U We have 8 librarian who CHAT. Half said they would be willing to stay until 11pm to CHAT. They might have to log out and in again because they might need to move to a different computer but anyway, Denison is OK with it as long as we don't get some huge number of shifts for the late night hours.

10 30   no Defiance College Mary Bishop is the only member of our staff participating in Chat Ref (and will be the only one for the foreseeable future), Defiance College is unable to contribute anyone else or any more time for an extension of hours.
11 29   no John Carroll we are also participating in a 24X7 chat reference service sponsored by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities and have cut back our participation in the OL service considerably.? It probably would be difficult to find someone to be on chat that late, because none of us do chat from our homes.
12 28 * no Kent State U : includes: Geauga, Stark, Trumbull would not be able to participate in the possible extenstion of OL chat hours at this time Stark comments: fully support extending ref chat and 11pm is a very reasonable time (I would suggest at least until midnight during the fall and spring). I would volunteer for a late shift once or twice a semester as a way to really promote its value
